David Wilson is a co-founder of Brydge4Schools. After graduating from college, David joined Teach for America and served as a middle school math teacher for Uncommon Schools in New York City. While a Teach for America corps member, he was selected for the "Good to Transformational Fellowship" and served as a "Teach for America-New York City Ambassador". Additionally, while in New York, he was invited to become a guest blogger for the Huffington Post. After completing his time in Teach for America, David was selected for a "Leadership for Educational Equity" Policy & Advocacy Fellowship. For his fellowship, he worked in the Office of New York City Council Member Mark Levine, conducting education research and managing communications data. David is passionate about expanding opportunities for students, particularly in increasing foreign language learning, computer science and coding, and service-learning opportunities for America's K-12 students. He loves his God, family, friends, and home state. He also enjoys playing guitar, singing, writing, reading, and traveling.
